As someone who grew up in Asm. Bauer-Kahan's district, lives there currently and has watched almost all of my friends and family move out due to the high cost of housing here, it is notable that Asm. Bauer-Kahan has apparently no thoughts or solutions on how to deal with the fact that housing is out of reach for most people in her district and most people who want to start a family and own a home are moving out. Not to mention the rising numbers of homeless residents located throughout the County, many of whom were in stable housing before being evicted due to rising rents.

Instead our cities are slowly aging in place and our school districts are bleeding enrollment. Frankly as the parent of a two year old focusing on body armor and microplastics and having nothing to say about the issue that comes up again and again in surveys as the biggest issue affecting district residents is malpractice.
