Union says Contra Costa County doesn't have enough doctors

There aren't enough doctors in the Contra Costa County health system and the problem will only get worse next year, according to the union representing county doctors and dentists.

I find it difficult to understand why the county has a recruitment problem in the health care area. Given what we are paying these people. "Let your fingers do the walking" through this document:

The Medical Director is getting nearly $700,000.00 per year, as are those directly below him.
And a Registered Nurse makes north of $500,000.00. Ditto for a Charge Nurse.

And if they stay until retirement, they get "gold plated" Taxpayer-provided retirements which include health care.
