A pair of East County residents were arrested after allegedly stabbing a young Danville adult after the three were hanging out in town Tuesday night.

Luc Foglizzo, 22, of Brentwood and a 17-year-old from Antioch — whose name wasn’t released — remain in custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery and conspiracy, according to Geoff Gillette, Danville town public information coordinator.

Gillette said police began their investigation after responding to a report of an assault around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Mikado Place, located off Brookside Drive between El Capitan and Greenbrook drives.

Officers found an 18-year-old Danville resident suffering from an apparent stab wound at the scene, according to Gillette. The victim was reportedly also robbed of money and other items.

It appears all three people were hanging out near where the stabbing occurred on Mikado Place, and that the victim knew one of the suspects but police aren’t sure of the relationship with the second suspect, according to Sgt. Brian Sliger.

The victim, who was able to describe the attacker and the vehicle he was driving, was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where the victim is reportedly in stable condition, according to Gillette.

The investigation led to Brentwood police spotting the suspect vehicle and detaining Foglizzo and the 17-year-old, both of whom were subsequently arrested by Danville police, according to Gillette.

Foglizzo remains in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility and the 17-year-old is being held at county juvenile hall, according to Gillette.

  1. So sad to see this. I’m glad the Danville 18-year-old is recovering in the hospital. Sorry to use this as an example, but it’s a good time to remind our children to make better choices with their friendships and decisions.

  2. Looks like one of the suspects is a mess:

    · 1/17/17 at 10:40 am, an officer saw two subjects in the parking lot at Carl’s Jr on Lone Tree Wy. He recognized one of them as a trespasser he had admonished earlier. He contacted both and they consented to a search. He located suspected methamphetamine on 22 year old Luc Foglizzo and an operable, antique unloaded pistol in his vehicle. Foglizzo stated the pistol was a family heirloom, and his father gave him permission to possess it. His father responded and confirmed Foglizzo’s going down the “wrong path” but did have permission to have the pistol. Foglizzo was issued a citation for the narcotics and released at the scene.

He thinks he is an actor:
