San Ramon: Council to talk old Mudd's site, Laborer's property

Specifically, city officials will discuss rezoning the Mudd’s Restaurant property now owned by the city from office to park space, and adjusting the urban growth boundary of the Laborer's property.

It has been a long time coming for the thousands of us who feared Mydd’s property would be sold, the beautiful restaurant building torn down and lost to the citizens forever. It’s wonderful that we have come to this point. It is a testimony to the persistence of the citizens, the wisdom of the parks commission, and now, we hope, the concurrence of our elected leaders.
