Volunteers? For free? Don't you get what you pay for?

Yeah, what's up with not getting paid? That work must be tedious.

Here come the disease detectives - actually called “Contact Tracers.” You will be asked the following questions:

1. Who have you seen in the last two weeks?

2. Where were you in the last two weeks?

3. Who were you in contact with?

4. Where do you work?"

By the way, when the contacts are notified, they will not be told who was diagnosed with coronavirus. Also, those who download an app called Care19 will get a random ID number, and the app will anonymously cache the individual's locations throughout the day. Isn’t this just another way of saying, “Your papers please!”

There is something really creepy about this process. Also, can you imagine the fear these “contact tracers” are going to spread? For example:

Contract Tracer Smith says to Joe Blow, “Mr. Blow, it has come to our attention that you were at 911 Covid Street on May 8, 2020. I would like to know who you had contact with after your arrival at that location.“

Joe Blow: “What? Who the hell are you?”

CT Smith: “I am a contract tracer. Where were you the last two weeks?”

Joe Blow: “None of you’re business.”

CT Smith: “Look, I want to know who you were in contact with.”

Joe Blow: “Leave me alone. Who the hell do you think you are?”

CT Smith: “I need to know where you work. You may have been exposed to COVID-19. You may have infected other people! Work address please!”

Joe Blow: “Is that why you’re bothering me? To tell me that someone may have infected me? Who is this person that I allegedly came in contact with?”

CT Smith: “None of you’re business!”

Joe Blow: “Look, you ass, my family is terrified because of what you just said. At least show me a picture of the person who I may have had contact with?”

CT Smith: “No. None of you’re business!” The person you may have had contact with has a right to privacy!”

Joe Blow: “Well, where is my right to privacy if I give you the information you want? Idiot.”

CT Smith: “You’re information goes into a national database - as well as everyone else you had contact with. It’s our way of keeping track of you. Please comply.”

Joe Blow: “Kiss my ass, Nazi.”
