Peggy Coleman stars as Reverend Mother in the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre production of “Nunsense” running May 8-17 at the Village Theatre, 233 Front St., in Danville.
The show opens with the Little Sisters of Hoboken discovering that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. They decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, and the hilarity ensues.
Cast members include Sister Hubert: Shari Oret; Sister Robert Anne: Suzanne Henry; Sister Mary Leo: Sarah Sloan; Sister Amnesia: Suzanne Ochs and Paula Gianetti. The show is directed by Brian Olkowski; musical direction by Sierra Dee; choreography by Paula Wujek Gianetti; and produced by Kathleen Breedveld.
