After a pursuit across multiple cities, deputies from the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office arrested four men early Wednesday connected to two vehicle thefts in Alamo.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 28), deputies responded to a residential burglary report in the 100 block of La Sonoma Way in Alamo.

The suspects sped away after allegedly stealing two vehicles.

Deputies located them in Concord and terminated their pursuit. Authorities later found one of the stolen vehicles in Bay Point and another in Orinda. The suspects fled on foot.

With the assistance of California Highway Patrol air support and Orinda, Lafayette and Pittsburg police, all four suspects were located and arrested.

Both recovered vehicles, along with personal property, were returned to their owner.

All four suspects were booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of burglary, felony evading and vehicle theft.
