Walnut Creek police are looking for two men who assaulted and tried robbing someone Wednesday in the Northgate residential area.
Police responded at approximately 11:45 a.m. to the 3300 block of Arbolado Drive.
Officers said the suspects already fled in a vehicle by the time they arrived.
The victim suffered minor injuries when the suspects allegedly assaulted him while trying to steal his personal property. The victim told police he didn’t know the suspects.
Police said it appeared to be a crime of opportunity and the suspects didn’t display or mention weapons during the assault.
The suspects were allegedly two young men with dark complexions wearing dark clothing and driving a dark sedan.
