The San Ramon City Council is set to hear a year-in-review presentation from the city’s planning department at its upcoming meeting, centered on projects underway so far in the current fiscal year.

Projects under construction consist of the 404-unit City Village project, the 183-bed Belmont Village project that is set to open later this year, a new fire training facility at 1500 Bollinger Canyon Road, the Primrose Day Care Center at 18080 San Ramon Valley Blvd., and the 117-unit Iron Horse Village project.

Projects in the building permit check process include the 61-unit Deerwood Drive Townhomes project, the 383-unit CityWalk Apartments project at 6131 Bollinger Canyon Road, the 57-unit TTLC Townhomes project at 500 Deerwood Road, and the 72-bed El Nido Assisted Living facility at 19251 San Ramon Valley Blvd. 

Other projects that have been approved with construction dates still to be determined consist of the 40-unit Marketplace Mixed-Use Development – the subject of ongoing litigation from Citizens Against Market Place Apartment Development – the 457-unit Avalon Bay Apartment project, and the 169-unit City Center Hotel.

Notable projects in the early stages of permitting include a subdivision for the former Chevron Park site, The Lab Gym at 2600 Hooper Dr., a park at Bishop Ranch 1A near Belmont Village, an AT&T monopole on Crow Canyon Road, the 190-unit Bartlett housing project at Bishop Ranch 7, the Windflower Fields Townhome project at 2701 Hooper Dr. – currently home to the Golden Skate – and the 198-unit Eden Housing project at 2453 Camino Ramon.
