Produced by Madison Vinas and Chloe Zhen
Addiction to nicotine, opioids and other drugs is more prevalent in high school students than most people, including students, understand. In their podcast, Madison Vinas and Chloe Zhen explore possible reasons students turn to addictive substances, how to bring up the subject of addiction and how school communities could better educate students about addiction.
This podcast was produced as part of a program to educate youth and others about Alameda County’s opioid crisis, prevention and treatment options. The program is funded by the Alameda County Behavioral Health and the grant is administered by Three Valleys Community Foundation.
