The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary in the unincorporated San Ramon Valley near Danville over the weekend, with the suspects still on the loose as of Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies from the sheriff’s Valley Station responded to the scene of a suspected residential break-in on the 800 block of Griffon Court at approximately 7:13 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 24). They subsequently confirmed that the incident was a burglary, but failed to find the culprits following a search of the area aided by a drone and a police dog.
The investigation was ongoing as of Tuesday, according to a spokesperson from the sheriff’s office.
