Officers with Dublin Police Services are continuing the search for a person who allegedly fired a gun into an occupied vehicle in the middle of town Friday afternoon.

DPS said in a press release that they did not believe the shooter posed a threat to the community at that point. The agency was following up on “multiple leads” in the ongoing investigation.

A call about the incident near the intersection of Scarlett Drive and Kilkenny Drive was received at approximately 1:20 p.m. Friday (Aug. 15), with police arriving at the scene shortly after. No injuries were reported.
