The culinary diversity of City Center Bishop Ranch is on full display over this middle part of September, as the San Ramon venue hosts its inaugural Restaurant Week.
With 10 of its tenant restaurants participating, City Center Restaurant Week — which started on Friday (Sept. 13) and runs through next Sunday (Sept. 22) — offers diners exclusive prix fixe menus and special discounts. The daily promotions also serve to lead into a September Sips event on the final day, in collaboration with Livermore Valley Wine Country.
“Our first-ever City Center Restaurant Week is an exciting opportunity for our neighbors and community to come together and celebrate the diverse culinary offerings we have in San Ramon,” said Jeff Dodd, senior vice president of retail at City Center Bishop Ranch. “We’re looking forward to showcasing the variety of flavors and chef creativity through these exclusive menus and specials.”
Restaurant Week takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day from now through Sept. 22. Participating restaurants include Bamboo Sushi, C CASA, Delarosa, Dumpling Time, Fieldwork Brewing, LB Steak, Marugame Udon, Social Affair, The Slanted Door and World Wrapps.
For September Sips, 12 Tri-Valley wineries will be at the outdoor shopping center in San Ramon for two special tasting sessions on Sept. 22: 1-3 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tickets cost $30 apiece.
“Enjoy a relaxed afternoon as wineries pour their best selections throughout the venue, allowing you to shop and sip simultaneously. Each guest will receive a complimentary wine glass and sample curated culinary offerings,” City Center officials said.
Connecting the two events, the first 30 patrons to spend $200 or more at participating Restaurant Week eateries (and bring their receipts to guest services to claim their prize) can get a free ticket to Session 1 of September Sips, officials said.
