Do you put your pants on one leg at a time or hop in? Brush your teeth before having a morning cuppa joe or skip breakfast all together? This week, Roving Reporter Jenn Teitell went to a Danville coffee shop to ask residents about their morning routines.

Pam Littrel, retired probation manager: I just retired a year ago. We just came up to visit. My morning routine up here would be CrossFit for an hour, then riding a bike up to Starbucks… Then I’ll go back to Pleasant Hill and do things with my mom in the afternoon. -
Wayne Bacus, student: Usually, since I’m always in a hurry, I shower and put myself together and brush my teeth however fast I can because I’m usually oversleeping. I run out the door, get coffee and then go to either school or work, whatever comes first. -
Carol Land, CPA and volunteer Medicare counselor: Today, I’m off, and I had yoga. We do a lot of stretching and flexibility, and it’s good for your spine if you’re older, like I am. I’ve been in this class for almost six years. Howard Van Ness is the teacher, and he’s wonderful. -
David Shilich, dental technician: I get up every morning, and I just have my quiet time and my Bible. Then I swim for a couple hours, and, eventually, I get my Starbucks, and it’s a good day then. -
Kelly Amador, hairstylist: My morning routine on my workdays is to wake up, take a shower, make coffee and make my morning toast, which is wheat bread, peanut butter, honey and banana. Then I get ready for work, and I go to Oakland.
Make bed, brush teeth, call mom and dad, coffee and toast, e-mails, internet headlines and swim. Oh yeh, kiss husband first.
Dear member of Danville. It appears you do not take the time to get dressed. I hope your property fences are over 6 feet.
Just a little humor…I sure you get dressed first.
