Danville police have released surveillance footage of a recent break-in at Los Panchos restaurant in the hopes of catching the unidentified culprit, according to town officials.

The incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. Nov. 7 at the restaurant at 480 San Ramon Valley Blvd., according to Danville Police Det. Anthony Perry.

The video footage, viewable to the public on YouTube and the police department’s Facebook page, shows a man looking into the restaurant, pacing outside the building and then breaking through the glass door.

A subsequent camera shot depicts the man rummaging around a room inside the restaurant.

Anyone with information about the incident can contact Perry at 314-3710 or aperry@danville.ca.gov.

  1. So where are the posts commenting about the perp’s race, ethnicity, and presumed city of residence?

Oh, wait – silly me. I forgot. Those things are only commented upon when the criminal appears to be nonwhite and from “out of town” (wink, wink)

  2. Theres nothing wrong with pointing out if a guy is white, black, brown, Asian, or whatever. The idea is to find the guy. The way to do it is to narrow down the possibilities. Common sense. It’s not racist…it’s objective.

  3. Just saw video. Looks like a white guy, or possibly Hispanic. Full head of hair, dark. Probably under 40, because hair wasn’t gray. Not that smart, though, as he’s wearing a T-shirt that probably isn’t tough to identify. No idea where he’s from.
