The City Center Bishop Ranch family just got a little bigger this month, with the recent announcement that four new tenants have signed up to open their doors in San Ramon’s entertainment and retail complex.
Set to open later this year, the new offerings include Sprinkles Cupcakes, Madison Reed Color Bar, Patelco Credit Union and World Wrapps.
“From the outset, our vision for City Center Bishop Ranch has been to fill it with a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and entertainment, which we believed in turn would make the center a magnet for the region,” said Alex Mehran Jr., president and CEO of Sunset Development Company -- owner and operator of Bishop Ranch and City Center. “With their focus on outstanding products and on warmly welcoming community members into their stores, these four new merchants fit the bill and will add exciting new choices for guests.”
Originating in Beverly Hills in 2005, Sprinkles Cupcakes operates more than 40 bakery and kiosk locations from coast to coast, each drawing long lines of loyal cupcake fans and celebrity endorsements.
Offering cookies, brownies and layer cakes, City Center officials say “Sprinkles is excited to expand its Northern California footprint and welcome guests in the East Bay to its newest bakery at City Center Bishop Ranch.”
Next up is a first of its kind Patelco Credit Union branch, which plans to create an adjacent community room that opens into the Sprinkles Cupcakes space.
“The unique partnership between Patelco and Sprinkles will provide its members an inviting place to relax and enjoy a cupcake and coffee while they meet with Patelco’s team members to discuss their personal financial health and well-being,” City Center officials said.
The not-for-profit credit union offers financial services and products to assist members.
Offering patrons a unique color-only salon concept, Madison Reed Color Bar offers clients free color consultations with licensed colorists, professional hair color service and Madison Reed products.
“The Color Bar concept is designed to deliver stunning color, free of harsh chemicals -- all in under an hour and a half,” officials said. “All Madison Reed products are free of ammonia, PPD, resorcinol, parabens, phthalates, gluten, SLS and titanium dioxide.”
Taking City Center visitors on a culinary adventure, World Wrapps takes the wrap sandwich to the next level, according to Keith Cox and Matt Blair, two of the four original owners.
Offering ethnic wrappers and “craveable combinations including house-made, fresh-pressed Flatbread Wrapps, Nori Wrapps and Rice Paper Wrapps,” the menu is rounded out by globally inspired beverages that include boba teas, mango lassi and Thai coconut iced tea.
City Center Bishop Ranch is located at 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon and open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Check www.citycenterbishopranch.com to view the operating hours of each individual store and eatery.

Patelco? How many potential City Center customers does that serve? Waste of space.

The City Center Bishop Ranch i already a waste of space. With all the malls around here in Pleasanton, Livermore, and Walnut Creek why would anyone go to this place that is still half empty long after "opening".
Best to shut it down before too late.

Why do you think Sunset Development wants to build seven stories-4,500 condos in Bishop Ranch? To fill these businesses with customers!
