Welcome to the Playbook!
It’s time for another week of the Tri-Valley Prep Playbook, your inside source for all sports when it comes to the East Bay Athletic League. Join me each week for some honest feelings about the good, the bad, and the ugly side of high school athletics!
The Big Picture looks at the amazing run it has been for East Bay Athletic League teams/athletes since last spring. Now Amador Valley and De La Salle football teams playing for state titles this weekend makes five different teams that have advanced to at least the CIF NorCal finals. It’s an unprecedented run in at least the last 45 years.
EBAL Power Rankings are done for the Fall season. We are hopeful that the basketball and soccer rankings can make their debuts next week!
Fast Five introduces Dougherty Valley cross country runner Alyssa Shah. I love the thought that she went in to her favorite quote.
Got a great story idea for something coming up in the winter? Let me know at acesmag@aol.com!

Pleasanton Preps: Amador wins first NCS football title in school history
With a 42-18 win over Bishop O’Dowd, this year’s Amador Valley varsity put themselves into the school record books.
