I expect the SR planning commission to consider the value of family oriented recreation activities and find workarounds/alternatives to the state mandated income based housing rules. My adult children grew up enjoying the rink, especially Birthday celebrations. We all should support Mr. Sharifi in his sincere effort to make the rink available and financially viable. SR should consider using parks and recreation funding to support this cause through City sponsored events.
