Authorities have identified a woman who died at the scene of a collision between a truck and a minivan at an intersection near downtown Danville over the weekend.

Sandy Hall, a 57-year-old from San Leandro, was a passenger in the truck involved in the collision that ultimately caused it to flip over and resulted in critical injuries that she ultimately succumbed to following life-saving measures by first responders.

The crash at approximately 1:15 p.m. Saturday (March 1) at the intersection of Sycamore Valley Road and Camino Ramon also injured the driver of the truck and the driver and sole occupant of the minivan. An adult passenger and a teenage passenger in the truck did not appear to be hurt, Danville police said at the time.

The fatal collision was the first of the year in Danville.
