Southbound Hacienda Drive was shut down from Gleason Drive to Central Parkway in Dublin beginning mid-day Monday, due to flooding caused by a recycled irrigation water main break, city officials wrote on social media Monday afternoon.

Dublin San Ramon Services District expects repair work to be completed by 8 p.m. Monday evening, Dublin communications analyst Ryan Moran told the Weekly.

The break occurred at approximately 11 a.m. Monday morning, according to DSRSD. The incident did not impact residential water service.

By 12:13 p.m., DSRSD staff isolated the leak and stopped the water flow, Moran said.

In the early afternoon, traffic on westbound Summer Glen Drive was being diverted to northbound Hacienda Drive, which remained open, according to city officials.

As of Monday evening, Moran said there is no standing water in the intersection of Hacienda Drive and Summer Glen Drive.

DSRSD is still investigating the cause of this break.
