The East Bay Colt 45s 13 and Under AAA Blue Team went to Canton, Mich., representing Danville in the 2005 USSSA World Series. Some 62 teams from around the country attended and the 45s finished in the top 10, winning its first five match-ups, until a loss in the quarterfinal round to the eventual champions. The Colt 45 Blue team was represented in the base-running competition by Calvin Chin, and in the Home Run Derby by Steven Kohlman.
