Police in Walnut Creek arrested a man suspected of being a prolific graffiti tagger, the department said Wednesday.
The department said that someone has been vandalizing vehicles and homes for the last month, tagging them with the spray paint moniker “Mini Bright.” The same person is also suspected of an attempted robbery.
On Wednesday, officers arrested a 45-year-old man who is suspected of over 30 vandalism cases in Walnut Creek and nearby cities. He was booked into jail on suspicion of attempted robbery and felony vandalism. He is being held on $50,000 bail, according to jail records.
Police believe there are probably more vehicles tagged with “Mini Bright” that have not reported the damage and are asking people to notify their nearest police department if this is the case.
