The project area extends from East Castro Valley Boulevard through Bollinger Canyon Road, with officials from the Alameda County Public Works Agency advising drivers this week to seek alternate routes amid scheduled closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August.

The third phase of the agency’s improvements to Crow Canyon Road consists of pavement reconstruction, guardrail and culvert replacement, rumble strips, and signing and striping.

The fourth and final phase of the project is set to consist of guardrail replacements between San Simeon Place and Norris Canyon Road.
