Granada baseball caps near-perfect season with CIF NorCal championship
The Granada baseball team finished out a near-perfect season, beating St. Mary’s of Stockton 6-4 on Saturday in the CIF NorCal championship to wrap up the season 32-1.

Power Rankings as of June 3.
EBAL BASEBALL
1) Granada (32-1): Amazing. The Mats run the table through the CIF NorCal field and win the D-I title with a 6-4 win over St. Mary’s-Stockton to finish 32-1.
2) De La Salle (21-8): The Spartans had a very good team but had the bad luck to be the same league/section with Granada. Fell to the Mats 5-0 in the second round of NorCal.
3) San Ramon Valley (16-11): Season over.
4) Foothill (13-13): Season over.
5) Livermore (14-12): Season over.
Others: Amador Valley (10-14), Dublin (10-14), Monte Vista (15-12), California (11-13), Dougherty Valley (7-16).
1) Amador Valley (19-11): Yes, Livermore did win league and beat Amador twice this year — but when you go on a run like the Dons did in the postseason, winning the CIF NorCal D-I tournament and you deserve the top spot to end the season!
2) Livermore (24-6): Snubbed by not getting a D-II NorCal spot as the Cowboys deserved a spot.
3) California (16-8): Season over.
4) Granada (12-9): Season over.
5) San Ramon Valley (13-12): Season over.
Others: Dublin (13-8-1), Foothill (12-10), Carondelet (9-10), Monte Vista (5-13), Dougherty Valley (4-16).
