The San Ramon City Council is set to receive a legislative update from the office of Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord) in the early weeks of the 119th congress that convened on Jan. 3 in the final weeks of the previous presidential administration.

In other business, the council will discuss filling the city’s vacant planning commission seat, consider proposed liaison appointments to the Contra Costa Transit Authority, Southwest Area Transportation Committee, and Tri-Valley Transportation Council, and electing a mayor pro tempore for the current year.
