Hospice of the East Bay invites the public to participate in its 23rd annual Tree of Lights ceremony, 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front St., Danville. Celebrations are held to honor or remember beloved friends or family members in the community. Enjoy music, poetry and talks by local dignitaries. A suggested donation of $20 per light can be made by sending a tax-deductible check to Hospice Foundation of the East Bay at 3470 Buskirk Ave., Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Credit card donations can be made by calling 887-5678. Proceeds benefit the patients and families in the care of Hospice of the East Bay.
