Synchronized swimming in San Ramon Valley

The Walnut Creek Aquanuts are kicking off a San Ramon Valley recreational synchronized swimming program with a free demonstration, 2-3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3 at Dougherty Valley High School, 10550 Albion Rd., San Ramon. Meet a synchronized swimming Olympian and watch US National Champions perform. This kicks off a five-week recreation program that the Aquanuts are offering at Dougherty Valley High School. Swimmers, ages 6-11, will learn the fundamentals of synchronized swimming including basic sculling, figures, routine development, and choreography. Visit www.aquanuts.org.
