Lidia Bastianich visits Rakestraw Books to discuss
her inspiring new book, “Lidia Cooks from the heart of Italy.” Bastianich awakens in us a new respect for food and for the people who produce it in the little-known parts of Italy that she explores, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17. Conversation and audience Q&A at the Village Theater. Wine tasting and book signing at Rakestraw Books, 522 Hartz Ave., Danville. Tickets are $50 (first ticket includes Lidia’s book; for your second ticket you will have book choices).
