Danville Police Department will host its Citizens Police Academy from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday, March 23. Learn about patrol, investigations, traffic, the K-9 unit and school resources. After completion of this program, participants may apply and become a “VIP” (Volunteer in Policing). To register, call Claudia Ray at 314-3704.
