San Ramon Valley Newcomers Club Luncheon invites new and established residents to its monthly luncheon today from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, at Faz Restaurant, 600 Hartz Ave., Danville. Mr. Gil Jardine will speak on food and wine parings. Cost is $20. This club usually meets on the third Thursday of every month. Call 718-5214.
