Mount Diablo State Park has opened registration for the spring 2011 Junior Ranger Program for children, ages 7 to 12, plus one accompanying adult. The sessions will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturdays, April 30-June 4, at various locations in the park. This program is free, but registration is required (limited to 15 children) and payment of the park’s entrance fee is required. My son has completed three levels of Junior Rangers and I highly recommend it! He and I learned so much and had a great time together. Steve Elliot does a fabulous job with the Junior Ranger program!
