Danville Library will host “Paws to Read” literacy program at 4 p.m. and 4:35 p.m., Mondays, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 and Nov. 7, at the Danville Library, Mt. Diablo Room, 400 Front St. This series is for children in grades 1-5 only and pre-registration is required; call 837-4889 (registration begins on Sept. 12 with maximum of (3) three reading sessions per child).
