Attend the 12th annual Eugene O’Neill Festival which marks the 75th anniversary of the esteemed playwright’s reception of the Nobel Prize for Literature with a production of “Mourning Becomes Electra.” The Role Players Ensemble will perform play Sept. 16-18, 22-25 and Sept. 29-Oct. 1, at the Village Theatre, 233 Front St., Danville. There will be a class “Eugene O’Neill 101″ at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Village Theatre; Saturday, Symposium on ‘Mourning Becomes Electra” and a fundraiser for at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Village Theatre; and “A Celebration Before Mourning” fundraiser for the foundation from 6-7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front St., Danville.
