Learn about the art and history of the Japanese Tea Ceremony

Be a part of CityRead 2011 and discover the history, culture, and elegant art form of the Japanese tea ceremony at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Danville Library, 400 Front St. Tea instructors Larry Tiscornia and Kimika Takechi will give a special hands-on demonstration and glimpse into a beautiful Japanese tradition. This event is free, but seats are limited to a first-come, first-seated basis. Call 837-4889.
