Tassajara Grammar School and picnic grounds will be open Oct. 1-2 for families to enjoy the rural settings. The school is located at 1650 Finley Road, Danville. Costumed school marms will greet visitors and provide a special program at noon each day and the school will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Oct. 1 and 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Oct. 2. Call 837-3750.
