Town of Danville and the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 35th annual Lighting of the Old Oak Tree tonight from 5:15-8:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 25, along Diablo Road near the tree. Enjoy holiday refreshments, and sing-along with the San Ramon Valley High School Chorus. Stay to see Father Christmas and Snow Angel light the tree at 6:15 p.m. and then follow them in a parade down Prospect and Hartz avenues. The magic continues throughout downtown Danville with holiday music, entertainment and refreshments located at various boutiques and restaurants. This event is free. Call 837-4400.

There is nothing better in the whole wide world than “FREE”. Ain’t this a great country or what? The program is quite nice for the youngun’s; the merchants are pleasant, AND people are polite. Great country, born here, so glad.
how sweet it is perhaps this space needs to realize there is an alamo also the alamo tree lighting held this past sunday has never been mentioned by this outfit…perhaps you should realize danvill has not annexed us just yet they just take our money (hap mcgee)
yes we in alamo habve great merchants and great parks perhaps some one from your org.. will visit some day . but i guess the history of the danville [post office is a priority
