Whether you walk or run, be sure to join the Tri-Valley Haven for its annual 5K walk/run through downtown Livermore. The “Pace for Peace” will be at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. All Pace for Peace proceeds go to help local survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness served by Tri-Valley Haven.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. outside of Panama Red Coffee Company (2115 First St., Livermore). Medals will be given to race winners. Event T-shirts will be presented to every participant with $50 in pledges; stick around afterward for refreshments.
