Opium is considered to be deadly in today’s world, but have we looked back on history and agreed? A long time ago, Opium was used as medicine back in ancient times, and with technology, it seems to have worsened. This video captures the history of opium vs. today’s use of opium and how we can fix it.
This video was produced as part of a program to educate youth and others about Alameda County’s opioid crisis, prevention and treatment options. The program is funded by the Alameda County Behavioral Health Department and the grant is administered by Three Valleys Community Foundation.
