Law enforcement, first responders and local luminaries in the Tri-Valley gathered at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton on May 21 to greet the processional transporting fragments from the Twin Towers, including a large steel beam, that will be on display during this summer’s county fair. The exhibition, “Rising Together: In Remembrance of 9/11”, acknowledges the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and the 250th birthday of the United States.
