The San Ramon Police Department is investigating a series of early morning break-ins at a prominent shopping center this week while seeking to assure the public that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Police responded to a glass break alarm at Utopia Tanning Salon on Sunset Drive in The Shops at Bishop Ranch at approximately 4:10 a.m Tuesday morning, with several other burglaries at neighboring businesses discovered at the scene.
Although no arrests had yet been announced as of Wednesday morning, SRPD officials were hoping that would change soon as the investigation continued.
“There is surveillance of the incident, which we are going through in hopes to develop leads,” an SRPD spokesperson said Wednesday. “Our patrol and investigations division are working diligently on this and there is no current danger to the community.”
