Discover Danville is celebrating the town’s 150-year birthday with a Sesquicentennial Ball at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 4, at Bridges Restaurant and Bar. The night will include live music, dancing and a silent auction.
The black-tie ball will have the exclusive use of Bridges for the evening, which is offering a dinner entrée choice of filet mignon or house made fettuccini with or without wild brown prawns. Cost is $125 per person. Call 339-8330 or go to http://www.discoverdanvilleca.com to sign up online.
