Alamo residents Darrell Campos and his son Tyler, 5, point out their “I Voted” stickers after casting their ballot in the library at Alamo Elementary School this morning shortly before 8 a.m. Tyler is a kindergartner at the school.
Poll workers said they had a line out the door around 7:30 a.m. but after that things quieted down. At 8 a.m., a steady stream of voters continued to arrive, vote and exit before the school day began.
Polls will be open until 8 p.m.
