Meet a rascal named Trapper. This 11-month-old, neutered male Tabby has beautiful classic markings with pure white paws and a handsome white chest. I asked Trapper to wear a Santa hat and his response was an indignant look as if to say, “Are you kidding?” He did have a wonderful time chasing the hat around his cage.
Visit the East County Animal Shelter and you will find many beautiful and affectionate adult cats currently available for adoption. You will meet Missy; a 3-year-old spayed female Tabby with a loving personality. Look for a rambunctious 6-month-old silver tabby named “Belle” who cannot wait to climb your Christmas tree. Oh, what fun you will have!
The East County Animal Shelter, 4595 Gleason Drive in Dublin, is open daily 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; telephone 803-7040.
