Start the New Year right by adopting this beautiful lap cat named Ping. Tri-Valley Animal Rescue is excited to launch a new program in partnership with the East County Animal Shelter. Each month a shelter cat will be selected as the “Cat of the Month” and sponsored by TVAR, and Ping is the January 2010 Cat of the Month.
Ping is a gorgeous black 2-year-old, spayed female housecat. She has a gentle nature and loves to be brushed and petted. Introduce a toy mouse into the mix and watch Ping play her version of Pong!
As Cat of the Month, Ping will go to her new home with the following: a large covered litter pan, a comfortable new bed, a bag of cat food, and food and water dishes. Ping will receive a free health examination at a local veterinary hospital within two weeks of her adoption at which time TVAR will provide Ping with a microchip and rabies vaccination free of charge.
Visit Ping (pet No. 89245) at the East County Animal Shelter, 4595 Gleason Drive in Dublin, open daily 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; telephone 803-7040. The animal shelter will be closed on New Year’s Day and re-open on Saturday, Jan. 2.
