Round Hill was alive tonight with the sound of a trade show. It was the the Alamo Chamber of Commerce’s “Business After Hours” mixer at Round Hill Country Club.

Thirty tables of local businesses and community groups filled the event room and the bustle persisted from 5 p.m. until it ended at 8. Admittance was free.

The trade show was designed as a chance to make business connections, meeting potential customers and clients. In prior years, the event has been held at the Alamo Women’s Club.

“The nice things with all those businesses is they can meet and greet,” said organizer Sharon Schuyler, “and get more information on the Chamber.”

Different restaurants offered tastings, including the Peasant’s Courtyard, Don Jose’s, Yan’s China Bistro, Ristorante Forli, Diablo Country Club and Round Hill Country Club. There also was a no-host bar.

  1. Hat’s off to the Alamo Chamber of Commerce for putting on a first class event last night at Round Hill. Sharon Schuyler, Rich Wood, John Lineweaver and the rest of the board should take a great big bow! Well-Done! It was wonderful to see the Danville Express so well represented. Nice coverage for the community.
