The high temperatures that the Valley is known for during this time of year are finally starting to pop up this summer. Wednesday and Thursday are supposed to be hot ones, with temperatures expected to reach the mid 90s with variable winds of 5 to 10 mph.

In an email sent to parents, the principal of San Ramon Valley High School reminded students and parents about the dress code during warm days. The issue is likely one that many schools with dress codes are facing.

“Summer is over. We have issued many warnings this week regarding appropriate school attire,” Principal Joseph A. Ianora wrote last week. “We will enforce the dress code beginning on Monday (Aug. 30); please help us by checking with your student before they leave the house as to the appropriateness of their attire.”
