Meet Chulo, an 8-year-old neutered male American Staffordshire Terrier who is proof that appearances can be deceiving. Chulo’s badly cropped ears and large frame make him look somewhat intimidating, but he is a favorite of staff and volunteers at the East County Animal Shelter. “Chulo” is a Spanish nickname for “beautiful” and Chulo’s temperament is a reflection of his name.
Learn more about Chulo (pet #95149) by visiting him at the East County Animal Shelter, 4595 Gleason Drive in Dublin, open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Call 803-7040. See www.tvar.org for additional photos of Chulo and many other adorable dogs that are in Tri-Valley Animal Rescue foster homes.
