A celebration of life memorial service for Virgie Jones will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17 at the Alamo Women’s Club, 1401 Danville Blvd. Jones, known as Alamo’s historian, ambassador and author, died Aug. 16 at the age of 92.
No RSVPs are needed to attend the event, but anyone with questions about the service can contact Liz Jones at 407-5525 or email liz55buck@yahoo.com.
