Despite the chill in the air at a Monte Vista football game, one fan opted to go without clothes.

On Dec. 3 Monte Vista hosted a football game against San Ramon Valley High. When the game ended (San Ramon won), students gathered on the field and that’s when a male in the buff ran across a portion of the field, cutting through the crowd.

“It sounded like more of a prank,” said Lt. Jeff Moule who heard of the incident from his fellow officers. He said the officers at the school were busy with the crowd on the field and didn’t notice the male.

Monte Vista Principal said most of those in attendance were busy celebrating and that the school did not receive any complaints.

“Police tried to go after him but they did not jump the fence and follow through,” said Principal Janet Terranova.

San Ramon Valley has now entered the North Coast Section Division 1 championships and will play against De La Salle on Saturday, Dec. 10 for the division title.

  1. What does that even mean? San Ramon Valley High school has a very comparable population of enrolled students. They are both “big” things by state standards. Petty rivalries are entirely unnecessary at this dark time, thank you.

  2. Hey, I streaked on a dare back “in the day”!!! I think it’s pretty humorous and am glad the young man didn’t get caught! Doesn’t matter which school he was from….really!!
