The planned re-opening of the natural grass athletic fields in Danville, as well as the canine corral dog park at Hap Magee Ranch Park, has been delayed due to inclement weather. Maintenance Services Manager Jed Johnson said the fields were set to re-open March 1, but due to the rain it will be held off.
To check the current status of the fields and dog park, a phone line has been set up. Call 314-3484 to get the latest information. The line is updated by noon weekdays and by 7 a.m. on weekends.
